What is couple therapy?
A relationship is a deep bond between two people. Sometimes there are is a problem with one of you and often there is a problem with the way you two interact. You do not succeed in finding each other – not in words, not physically and not in your quarrels. Yet you both wish to restore your old connection.
During the sessions I guide you as a therapist to look for your mutual love, support and togetherness that you once shared. You are going to connect again to create a safe and enduring bond.
In sessions 5-10 we examine what happened between you two so that you can recognise the fixed behavioural patterns. We learn to communicate with each other in a different way and thereby you can tell each other your stories in a more efficient way. You will engage in conversations again, dare to be vulnerable and rediscover each other.
